The Leningrad Zoo is one of the smallest and most northern zoos in Russia. Despite its size, however, this zoo contains more than 2000 animals from most of the continents. You can also see trained lemurs and ride horses or ponies. On the weekends you can listen to lectures about rare animals. Of course, this is a great place for a nice walk with the kids, especially in the spring and summer. Children are very fond of this zoo.
The ticket office closes an hour earlier than the zoo.
