A highly recommended restaurant for a reasonable price. The food is Ukrainian and Russian cuisine and extremely authentic and tasty. The dishes are all prepared according to traditional recipes that have been in use for many generations. You can also enjoy entertainment while you dine; live piano music is played during the evenings and is mostly old Russian and Ukranian songs, which fits in well with the dramatic interior and cuisine offered. The famous and extremely popular Russian author - Dostoevsky – supposedly loved this cafe and frequented the place often. Not only is the restaurant a cafe as well as a bar, but it also specializes in Russian-vegetarian cuisine. The decor inside is in the style of the early 20th century and of the 1950s. The prices are good, the service efficient, and the food - great, especially if you are a vegetarian.
