 Isfahan, Iran to take part in grand international exhibition of travel industry
Isfahan will display an exhibition at the INWETEX-CIS Travel Market Fair in St. Petersburg to introduce the Iranian city's cultural capacities and its ancient arts.
Iran will be among 45 countries participating in the international exhibition of travel industry.
Isfahan Governor General Alireza Zaker Isfahani said, "Isfahan is ready to participate and this is a good opportunity to display Isfahan's various arts and handicrafts and present the high potential of the city."
Zaker Isfahani continued that such cultural events in different countries help to foster understanding of Iranian culture and change the image of Iran which has been distorted by western media.
The St. Petersburg Travel Market will be held from October 12 to 14 at the Lenexpo Exhibition Center on Vasilevsky Island in St. Petersburg. The event is the largest of its kind in Russia, annually attracting more than 460 companies from over 40 countries and more than 9,000 tourism industry professionals.
